THE HEAD
The head is the most important feature of the breed, as it is with most mastiffs. The Dogo Canario has a head that is distinctive from any other breed. The head is massive square and wide skulled. It is covered with loose hanging skin with sufficient wrinkle. Muzzle straight, not curved.
